Matt is a pedal steel guitarist, versatile multi-instrumentalist, musical collaborator, and producer based in Toronto.

Musical director / bandleader with City and Colour. Touring and recording with City and Colour since 2013.

Co-produced the latest City and Colour album 'The Love Still Held Me Near'.

Performed / recorded with a long list of artists including
Pink, Alexisonfire, You+Me, Johnny 99, Altameda, Georgia Harmer, Ben Rogers, Vincent Neil Emerson, The Deep Dark Woods, Courtney Marie Andrews, The Wild North, Bob Sumner, Elliot C Way, and countless others.
 

Matt is most known for playing pedal steel, hammond organ, vintage electric pianos, dobro, banjo, and guitars of all varieties, and just about anything with strings.
